Relationship Kyudo and Oriental medicine

Bose Kyudo and Oriental medicine are utilized in Japan.
Therefore, the contents of Kyudo are sometimes expressed figuratively in terms used in Oriental medicine.
For example,

  • Ice: Stiffness of the body and poor mobility. Ex. Hypothermia
  • Hot: Slovenly and helpless. Ex. Heatstroke
  • Float: Feelings are floating around. Ex. Become agitated
  • Hit: All he thinks about is hitting the target. Ex. No essence
  • Sink: Feeling down and restless. Ex. Depressive condition
  • Biase: The force is biased to one side.
  • Selfish: Being selfish.
  • Divide: The use of force in different ways. Ex. Distraction
  • Nothing: Feel no power. Ex. Languor
  • Plague: Repeat the following, Hayake, Motare and Biku.
